This is a Ford Prefect 100E. A bit of news now about our ol' Simca. It passed it's MOT! After a bit of welding, it was a good as new. The 'MOTer' gave it a tune up and we were off! It's all original. Tacoma White Simca 1501 Special Saloon! And now we run it every week and we hope to take it to shows like this. At the minute we're in the process of polishing up. We've done both front wings and done some polishing on the front bumper. It's still got a bit wrong with it. The rev counter doesn't work, but we don't want to fiddle around with the interior at a point like this. The first thing we did when it first got it's brand spanking new '09 tax was bring it back home and take the old seat covers off. The seast were covered in like funny sticky yellow seat stuff. Hard to explain what it was but it's all gone now. So at the minute all is good. I will update on other processes soon.
